We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" is a song recorded by American recording artist Taylor Swift. It was written by Swift with Max Martin and Shellback. Production was handled by Martin, and Shellback, with Scott Borchetta serving as executive producer. It was released as the lead single from Swft's fourth studio album Red (2012) on August 13, 2012 by Big Machine Records.

"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" is a pop song with bubblegum pop influences while the lyrics depict Swift's frustration at an ex-lover who wants to re-kindle their relationship. The songwriters wrote the song after Swift's ex-boyfriend's friend spoke of rumors he heard that Swift and her former boyfriend were reuniting. The song received mixed reviews from music critics; some praised the catchy, radio-friendly hook while others felt the song lacked the thoughtfulness of Swift's previous, more guitar-based work.

The song was an instant commercial success, topping the iTunes chart all over the world becoming the fastest-selling digital single and biggest digital sales week ever for a song by a woman in history with 623,000 copies, overtaking Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" and Kesha's "Tik Tok", respectively records. It is the first song in Swift's career to peak at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and the first song to hold the top spot for more than one week after a huge leap, since Kelly Clarkson's two-week run of "My Life Would Suck Without You" after the song rocketed from number ninety-seven to the top spot. A music video for the song was released in August 2012. It was the first music video to be presented in 4K resolution and received positive reviews from critics. A CD single was released in September 2012 by Swift's official store, Amazon.com and US Walmart stores.

"Even after it explodes into a million pieces and burns down and you're standing in a pile of the ash of what it once was thinking, 'Why did I have to meet this person, why did this have to happen?' "
"But then, when you make eye contact with someone across the room and it clicks and, bam, you're there. In love again."

Train was formed in 1994 with the philosophy that if you write and do great songs, people will listen. The core of the band was formed when Rob Hotchkiss, the former lead singer of a Los Angeles band called The Apostles, befriended Patrick. Patrick and Rob, armed with a guitar and two strong voices, started playing every cafe in San Francisco, sometimes two a night. Eventually, wanting to expand to a full band, the duo found three new members to complete the quintet: "We recruited Rob's former Apostles bandmates: Jimmy Stafford (lead guitar), and Charlie Colin (bass). Charlie introduced us to his friend Scott Underwood (drums), who rounded out the line-up."
Train has been crisscrossing the country in support of their debut release, all in the hope of fulfilling the prophetic quote of J. Poet from the San Francisco Chronicle who says, "This Train is bound for glory." The broad appeal of Train's powerful songs and stage presence has generated a great deal of interest from both fans and the music industry in a short amount of time. The band says, "We enjoy the road. When you're on the road, you get that instant gratification. Every day, you get that 'hey you're great, keep doing this.' People scream and ask for your autograph. Those are the things we've been dreaming about since we were kids."

The fog was where I wanted to be. Halfway down the path you can’t see this house. You’d never know it was here. Or any of the other places down the avenue. I couldn’t see but a few feet ahead. I didn’t meet a soul. Everything looked and sounded unreal. Nothing was what it is. That’s what I wanted—to be alone with myself in another world where truth is untrue and life can hide from itself. Out beyond the harbor, where the road runs along the beach, I even lost the feeling of being on land. The fog and the sea seemed part of each other. It was like walking on the bottom of the sea. As if I had drowned long ago. As if I was the ghost belonging to the fog, and the fog was the ghost of the sea. It felt damned peaceful to be nothing more than a ghost within a ghost.”

"I used to be really dark. Now, I wake up and check her pulse and make sure she's not having a temperature. And then we dance. And we dance, and we dance, and we dance," she says. "Then, we go on bike rides. And we dance some more. Everything's a song. It's just a lot more fun. I guess that's how the record reflects where I am right now. I'm just having a lot more fun than I ever have."

If there's something popular, I try and not go anywhere near it. "I hope I never grow up. I feel like I've regressed in a lot of ways," she says. "I think having a little girl that's fun and funny, she's really funny, she's even goofier than I used to be, so maybe I was maturing, but that's over."

The golden syrup of this morning sun
ladles light upon lovers this day.
Every heart is a face upturned,
a mouth silently drinking this spring gift.
This warm body of delight,
this opening in the bloom of God
that runs to our arms as a fragrant child
to laugh and tweak our nose with playful sunrise.

Each day I rise with the Thought of light the roaring brightness, enlighted contrast Of beams and rays in a medley of grace I stand before the earth and chase darkness towards the flames deep beneath the universal traits you are my fame "sunshine" Daylight desires opening a cycle Of nocturnals painting away the night giving birth to a new life a new day... a simple chapter starting with a thought that spoke of DAYLIGHT.

Maroon 5 - Beautiful Goodbye

Hungered for your love
Thirsted for your passion
Written in the fine lines of my face
Mirrored in the reflective tracts of my eyes
My intentions were clear
Yours were blurred by the watery ripples of uncertainty
of which cautionary symbol my weak heart chose to waver

Foolishly I took love's fatal leap
blindly I reached for some solidity
only to fall into the ravine, a mere toddler step from the cliff's edge
if only the safety net of your adulation had been under me
my fragmented body would be whole today

You were my rock, my supportive backbone
and all that you left was a puddle of broken promises broken dreams and a broken me
so here I am amidst a jaded dream that you would return
but you arent to be had for the wanting
my attempts at pursuit would only play catalyst to an untimely demise

Tonight I release you from my haunted thoughts
I need to mend, I need to heal
My hands are empty of their clinging grasp
Turn away now and leave me the pieces to nurse alone
Time has now arrived...

for your beautiful goodbye...

Why we lie
Fear of harm: The easiest reason to understand why we lie is for self protection, including self deception, to prevent harm to ourselves. This harm can be either physical or mental.

Fear of conflict: To some degree, we all fear having an argument.

Fear of punishment: When growing up, how often did we lie about how well we did in school, or who started a fight? How often do we cover up our mistakes and transgressions?

Fear of rejection: Sometimes, our insecurities are the foundation of why we lie to each other, because we want to be remain popular in our relationships. Typically, it is harmless boasting to make ourselves appear more admirable to other people.

Fear of loss: This is usually the loss of personal objects, such as money or expensive valuables. Greed is the foundation for this reason and can be found in each of us. We often lie to make ourselves more desirable to other people too. Most common, people lie for fear of losing an opportunity to have sex. Other times, when our self esteem starts to decline, we even lie to ourselves as means to prevent loss of morale.

Altruistic Reasons: We often lie to help our friends and loved ones. How often do we flattery someone just to make them feel better? This is the only selfless reason why we lie.

Overexposed is the fourth studio album by the American pop rock band Maroon 5. The album was recorded between 2011 and 2012 and was driven after the moderate success of their third album Hands All Over (2010) and later by the enormous success of re-release single "Moves Like Jagger". The album was released on June 26, 2012 in the United States by A&M/Octone Records. The band worked with different producers, such as Max Martin, who serves as the album's executive producer, Ryan Tedder, Shellback and Benny Blanco. Levine's usual co-writer and lead guitarist James Valentine only has four credits on the album. The band has said that it is their poppiest album, featuring mostly pop oriented tracks, combined with pop rock, dance-pop disco and reggae sounds. The accompanying artwork is a colourful collage of illustrations seemingly inspired by the likes of Picasso and a range of modern cartoonists. Its title is a smirking allusion to Levine's ubiquity, while its sound is a reflection of how the group wishes to retain the large audience they won once again with "Moves Like Jagger". The album's lead single "Payphone", featuring rapper Wiz Khalifa, produced by Shellback and Benny Blanco, was released and performed on The Voice on April 16, 2012. The song was a success, reaching number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as on the ARIA Charts, while it topped the UK Singles Chart, Canadian Hot 100 and Italian Singles Chart. A second single "One More Night" was released on June 19, 2012. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100, making it their 3rd No.1 single in the US preceded by Moves Like Jagger and Makes Me Wonder.

Born on January 17, 1984, in the southern Scotland city of Dumfries, Harris was first attracted to electronic music in his teens and was recording bedroom demos by 1999. Two of these songs, 'Da Bongos' and 'Brighter Days', were released as a 12" club single and CD-EP by the Prima Facie label in early 2002 under the artist name Stouffer. With that single to his credit, the still teenaged Harris moved from Scotland to London, but as a very small fish in one of the world's largest and most competitive ponds, Harris floundered; only one of his songs was released during his time in London, 'Let Me Know' with vocalist Ayah on the Unabombers' 2004 live-mix CD Electric Soul 2. Returning home to Dumfries, Harris began posting homemade solo recordings to his MySpace page.

Returning home to Dumfries, Harris began posting homemade solo recordings to his MySpace page. An A&R representative from EMI liked what he heard and signed Harris to the label in 2006. Following a pair of successful singles, Harris released his debut album, I Created Disco, in the summer of 2007. It featured two Top Ten hits ("Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls"), and climbed high in the album charts. Along with his work as a solo artist, including touring in front of a full live band, Harris quickly became an in-demand remixer — working on singles by Jamiroquai, Groove Armada, All Saints, and CSS. He also wrote and produced songs for Kylie Minogue's 2007 comeback album, and collaborated with Dizzee Rascal on "Dance wiv Me," which reached number one in the U.K.

"I'm Not Alone," the first single from his second album, also hit number one upon release in April 2009, as did the album when it appeared that August. That album, Ready for the Weekend, topped the U.K. album chart and peaked at number 12 on Billboard's U.S. dance/electronic chart. Through 2011, Harris took on production work for Example, Tinchy Stryder, and Rihanna ("We Found Love," a quadruple-platinum hit in the U.S.), while he also issued two more of his own singles (the Kelis collaboration "Bounce" and "Feel So Close"). Harris' third solo album, Calvin Harris, was released in June 2012.

Merging a pop-meets-hip-hop sound they call "swag-pop," Karmin is the setup of singer/rapper Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan. Heidemann came from a small Nebraska town and discovered her voice in sixth grade, while Noonan became an award-winning trombone player and die hard classic rock fan while growing up in Maine. The pair met in 2006 at Boston's Berklee College of Music, where Heidemann studied songwriting, performance, and business, and Noonan was on his way to becoming a professional trombonist, playing with the likes of Paul Simon and Herbie Hancock. While the pair — who became a couple — worked on music for school assignments together, it didn't occur to them to join forces professionally until they graduated. Taking their name from combining "carmen," the Latin word for "sing," and "karma," Karmin's debut release Inside Out arrived in 2010 and featured a largely acoustic sound, with Noonan playing a wooden box because the duo couldn't afford a drum kit. They also posted their songs on YouTube, but realizing that it was unlikely that people would search out their original songs, Noonan and Heidemann began covering Top 40 hits and became an Internet sensation in the process. In April 2011, Karmin posted a cover of Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now" on their YouTube channel, drawing the attention of Ryan Seacrest, Diplo, ?uestlove, and the Game, among others; covers of Lil Wayne's "6 Foot 7" and Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" soon followed, all of which displayed Heidemann's rapping skills as well as her vocal chops. Around this time, Karmin's original song "Take It Away" was used in commercials for the 2011 NBA Finals. That June, Epic Records signed Karmin, who began working on their debut album. The duo, now based in Los Angeles, worked with producer Jon Jon Traxx on a set of songs including "Take It Away" as well as "Brokenhearted" and "I Told You So," which Karmin performed on Saturday Night Live in February 2012. Hello was released in May 2012.

Cher Lloyd stole the limelight as a contestant on series seven of Simon Cowell's U.K. talent program The X Factor. The singer and rapper auditioned for the program twice, singing ballads before being accepted through a performance of "Turn My Swag On" — with Keri Hilson's version the template instead of Soulja Boy's original. After a great amount of support from the program's judges, Lloyd made it to the final but finished fourth. Throughout the series, Lloyd took on a diverse assortment of songs, including Coldplay's "Viva la Vida," the S.O.S. Band's "Just Be Good to Me," Jay-Z's "Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)," Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend," and a mix of the Black Eyed Peas' "Where Is the Love?" and "I Gotta Feeling" (performed with the group's will.i.am). After the final, Lloyd signed with Cowell's Sony BMG-affiliated Syco label and debuted in June 2011 with the boisterous single "Swagger Jagger." Her full-length debut album, Sticks + Stones, followed that same year.

Get control of your emotions
One of the quickest ways to make sure that he never calls you is to pour out your heart and profess your undying love for him. Though you may feel like doing this, you’ll only succeed in driving him off. Think of how you communicated with him when you first met. You likely didn’t come off as being needy and desperate. It’s more likely that you were self-confident and easy-going – not to mention, fun.
Self-improvement
You’re never going to accomplish anything by sitting at home and feeling sorry for yourself. Although the only thing you may feel like doing is curling up in the fetal position and locking yourself in your bedroom, you won’t accomplish much in the long run. Take this opportunity and pursue interests and hobbies that you didn’t have time for before. Learn a new language, brush up on your photography, sign up for tae kwon do, or finish your education. Whatever you decide to do, just make sure that it’s something you’re going to enjoy. As a twist, you can learn a new skill that both you and your ex boyfriend can enjoy. That way, you’ve got an excuse to meet up.
Appearance
Of course, looks aren’t everything, but they can go a long way to creating those old romantic feelings. You don’t have to go overboard, just make that little extra effort. Change your wardrobe, try a new hairstyle, and learn a few makeup tricks in order to create that physical attraction once more. Make sure that the clothing you buy complements your shape.
Get your own life together
Refuse to become a wreck because he dumped you. Your life is worth much more than that and you should be doing everything possible to create a better future for yourself. If you do happen to reconcile, he’ll notice the new and improved you. If he’s thinking of settling down with you, he’s going to want someone who is ready. That means he’s looking for stability, maturity, and a sense that he’s making the right choice.
Getting your life together could mean anything from finishing your education, to landing a prestigious job, to living a healthier lifestyle.
Though you may not believe it, the chances of you figuring out how to make your ex boyfriend want you back are actually pretty good. After all, there was something about you that initially attracted him, and there is a lot to be said for that. There is no reason why you can’t rekindle those old feelings.
